New release of TEAM software (v1.5.4.1)
(Note: this was updated on the 22nd of February to change from 1.5.4.0 to 1.5.4.1 since this bug-fix update was released).
Not too long after the previous version, we released a new update for the ‘Taxonomy of ETL Automation Metadata’ (TEAM).
TEAM and VEDW are developed for the purposes of sharing knowledge and testing out new ideas. They are updated from time to time to try out new concepts and generally make it easier for others to ‘play around’ with the ideas or contribute / use the software.
As always the new version can be downloaded from Github (send me an email for access, it’s still a private repository) or via Google Drive here and here.
This new version has some significant improvements, including but not limited to:
- Minor bug fixing for validation on data sources that run off the PSA.
- Added generation of configuration settings, DIRECT and default configuration settings can be easily restored from the repository management.
- Minor bug in sample code, added ‘renewal_code’ attribute to support SAL samples.
- Ensured that degenerate attributes and Same-As / Hierarchical Links are not incorrectly are flagged as ‘wrong’ by the validation checks.
