A brief update on data solution automation progress
I would like to share this short blog post with an overview of everything that is happening the data solution automation space.
First of all, it’s only a week to go before heading to Europe for various things, including:
- Data Solution Design Patterns training 15-17 November in Cologne, Germany (register at https://www.dwhpatterns.com/ – it’s going to be great!).
- Working with bi-temporal data expert Dirk Lerner (https://tedamoh.com/en/) on new content and examples.
- Genesee Academy’s DVEE Consortium and DVEM Rising events (November 31st and December 1st in Rotterdam, The Netherlands).
Working towards these events always pushes the overall content, and there is a lot happening.
The design/mapping metadata tool TEAM and code-generation tool VDW are getting a facelift and are being updated to use the v2.0 of the schema for data solution automation. TEAM and VDW will also get support for the Snowflake platform.
In addition, some great work is done at Agnostic Data Labs to ensure template documentation is properly created and connected to the design patterns at the data solution framework Git repository.
A lot of work and research goes in to being able to publish new content.
